Meditation calms the mind, reduces stress and enables me to feed myself, the soul, with spiritual thoughts and feelings.

Inner peace and happiness naturally arise when the mind becomes still. When I experience these qualities on a regular basis confidence and dignity are restored. This awakens hope and gives strength to cope better with the busyness and difficulties in life.

Raja Yoga meditation can be practiced by anyone, anywhere, at anytime as rituals, mantras and postures are not involved.

We do not charge fees for any of our activities. Contributions are most welcome.

Brahma Kumaris Gold Coast is a branch of Brahma Kumaris Australia.  Brahma Kumaris Australia is part of a global network of organisations with over 8500 centres in over 130 countries with its spiritual headquarters, the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University (BKWSU) in Mt Abu, Rajasthan, India.

Established in 1937 BKWSU was inspired by the vision of a world in which all individuals have developed their potential, living in harmony with others and with the environment. The university works to promote peace at all levels; through personal development, local and national initiatives and international projects.  

BKWSU is a non-governmental organisation in general consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), in consultative status with UNICEF and is affiliated to the Department of Public Information.

Our centres are run by people who practise the philosophy and lifestyle that they teach and they volunteer their time and resources.

No fees are charged for any of our activities.  This is in accordance with the principles of the Brahma Kumaris who believe that a price tag cannot be attached to the spiritual dimension of life.  Voluntary contributions are most welcome from those who have benefited from our activities.

**Beginners are welcome.  These sessions will be facilitated by an experienced meditation teacher.

Join us for an hour of meditation where you leave your day behind you and get back to the stillness within you. These sessions will be facilitated by an experienced meditation teacher and will include an introduction and practise of BK meditation techniques, including guided meditations.

  • explore the tree of humanity and how an understanding of this can positively inform your life

Join us to learn how we can identify ways to create a sense of personal control and mastery, develop our inner power to face our fears and anxieties and shift our focus to the positives in life so that happiness and success grow.

Charlie Hogg has practised meditation daily for the past 40 years. From his own experience he believes meditation is an extraordinary tool to maintain mental, emotional and spiritual health in a world increasingly challenged by anxiety, stress and depression.  Charlie is the National Co-ordinator of Brahma Kumaris Australia and is a sought after speaker at forums, seminars, retreats, etc throughout the world.
